4 joints liquid

Is there an equivalent of the 4 joints liquid for those of us in the US?

Google for 'liquid joint care for dogs' and if needed for the ingredients list of each product. I am sure that you have got comparable brands. Glucosamine support products are usuall widely available in pet shops and online as they are classed as supplements and not as a medication.

The liquid form is so much easier to dose and to give to quinea pigs, hence the recommendations. It is stronger than Oxbow joint care. Most of my own arthritic oldies get used to the taste quickly and take it willingly from the syringe in combination with also syringed 1.5 mg dog strength metacam to take care of the pain (for which we need a vet prescription here in the UK, as of course for any stronger painkillers for arthritis in the advanced stages). ;)

Here is what is in the UK version:
Johnsons 4 Joints Extra Strength Liquid 100ml. A liquid, water soluble supplement containing MSM, Glucosamine Sulphate, Chondroitin Sulphate, Vitamin C, Minerals and Trace Amino Acids. This natural nutritional supplement is specially formulated to promote and maintain healthy joint mobility.

I hope that this helps you to find a comparable product.

These are 3 that I found. Does one look better than the other? Any ingredients that look potentially harmful to guinea pigs?

I think that pretty much any of them would do.

You want any version you go for to contain glucosamine, MSM (methyl-sulphonylmethane) and chondroitin as the three key active substances.
'Minerals and trace amino acids' in the Uk version correspond to the manganese and hyaluronic acid that are listed in the US versions.

Here is (per 5 ml) what is in the UK extra strength product (key ingredients) so you can see what roughly comes closest:
Ingredients. Composition (per 5ml): Glucosamine Hydrochloride 200mg, Methyl Sulfonyl Methane 100mg, Chondroitin Sulphate 75mg. Analytical Constituents (per 100g): Protein 2.0g,, Fibre 1.2g, Ash 0.8g, Fat Trace.

We recommend 0.4 ml once daily of the UK version for a 1 kilo piggy.
4Joints Mobility Extra Strength Liquid For Dogs - 100ml | Johnson's Veterinary | Pet Connection

It takes a little while to build up (so do not expect instant results) but it does really make a difference for my arthritic piggies to give them comfort and increased mobility for a bit longer.

One last question. I'm sorry. They all seem to have Stevia in them. Is this harmful to guinea pigs?

In lab tests stevia has been found to not be toxic to guinea pigs but if one of those products of yours is free of it, I would opt for that one.

Unfortunately, they all had stevia. Thank you! I can't wait to get started. I have a lot of senior piggies.
