Hello! Currently my 3 girls are in a 4x3 c and c cage, we’re moving house, yay! But unfortunately the only spot we’d be able to put the pigs in the new house will only fit a 3x3. It seems like it would be a little small/ cluttered. Opinions?

Hello

welcome to the forum 3x3 would give you 9 grid space. A 2x5 is recommended for 3 pigs which gives a 10 grid area. Your current setup gives you 12 grid space.

Maybe set the grids up next clean time and see how it looks/fits

Be lovely to see some photos of your piggies

Hi congrats on a house move.
the guide for piggies size homes is on the forum P@H guide is for their selling purporse and horrible wrong.
If a piggie or any animal lives in a small area they become recluse and shallow not allowed to express themselves etc.
Wish I could help and hope you and your piggies enjoy the new home.

The best thing about c&c is it's flexibility. When I had mine indoors I had a 4 by 5 grid set up but the far right corner took a 1 by 1 square off to account for the wall coming in a little. It's a faff for making liners etc but means you don't have to stick with a perfect square/rectangle if the room has sticky out bits as you can still give them lots of space

Thank you everyone. Sadly an L shape won’t work it’s kind of a weird shaped room with a random indent. Probably meant for a bed or desk.
