I see you hardly post elsewhere though :-\

On my website I had a guy who just used to post just to get his post count up - I had numerous complaints about him - so I found a little mod, attached it to the forum and stopped his post count going up until he learnt that no one was racing with him lol

:o - be thankful I'm not an admin on this forum ;)

x

i would never post to msake the count go up and i spend alot of time on the photo section, health and illnes and behavior, i just never feel like i need to post anything because i'm still learning how to be a good piggle slave

the point of this thread is to express my amazement that i have posted so many posts

Come on guys, I don’t want to risk upsetting anyone on here, after all I’ve only been a member for about 5 minutes compared to some, but the OP seems to be a fairly young lad who loves his pet and clearly enjoys posting. He seems to get flamed a bit in the threads I’ve read, please give him a break. People don’t always agree or relate to everyone else in internet communities – can we not just try to ignore posts we don’t like rather than attacking them? After all, we all have one thing in common – our piggies :D

Hope you don't mind me commenting but i'm going to anyway.

I guess you are a teen (not to take anything away from you it's 'us' i'm addressing this to)

Maybe there's a lot of people (myself includded) that are just a little over the hill and therefore a little more mature (not that you are immature but just different things make us laugh, amaze us etc)

Maybe just be aware that there are a lot of knowledgeable and experienced people on here who don't think its anything to be amazed at about how many posts you have posted. I think if there had been 300 helpful posts then we would all be shouting at the rooftops welll done but maybe games don't quite cut it.

I hope I have not spoken 'down' to you but explained that its us old folk

I agree Boureki - I think you said it better than I did - I think I managesd to offend - er.. everyone :-\

the reason that people may be against me is because i'm a male teenager, every mother's nightmare, lol

It's not that by any means. It's just sometimes your posts are unnecessary :)

I'm a mother of 2 teenager boys one of 13 and one 17 as well as 2 older boys of 21 and 25 and can tell you quite clearly that is not the reason and think squeeky wheekys post was just right and said it all really. just try talk piggy more after all thats what really interests us all, and do you know what I have not got a clue what my posting number is,

There is another forum i go on where post in a certain area dont actually up the post count. Stops people over posting so to speak. Any posts in the wrong area get removed and the post count goes back down.
So squeeky, you on half term?

nope, i'm actualy doing school work as we squeak, i home educate and i'm doing gcses in a couple of months

since when have guinea pig forums been part of the national curriculum ?

LMFAOOO

[the reason that people may be against me is because i'm a male teenager, every mother's nightmare, lol]
and as for that?
wtf.... ::)

On another forum I'm on if you post for the sake of posting it just gets deleted meaning your post count goes down and if you post pointless posts or threads it is called SPAMMING.

Post count to be honest doesn't matter as it is the QUALITY of the post instead of the QUANTITY of the posts that you do anyway.

Hope that makes sense as I'm just so tired.

I totally agree with you
its def spamming and spammers are damn annoying

I've got 3 teenage children, two of which are boys. There's no real difference that i can see as far as emotions etc.. they're all going thru the same up and downs. Part of growing up is learning from your mistakes and gosh i still make them. Patience and consideration towards people is all i ever ask for :)
Piggie talk is what we like to do here :)

I agree with Boureki.... give Squeeky a break.... :(

Its nice that a young lad is interested and loves his piggies, makes a change from the little horrors that we hear about too often these days ....

ive done 50 posts today... ? ::)
not that is matters lol
I agree with the QUALITY not QUANTITY comment... it doesnt matter how many posts you have done, it only matters about how many helpful posts you have done :)

hope that makes sence lol :)
