is that an okay size for one piggy? I thought it was, but people are saying it's not now. The measurements are eight sq. feet. Cocoa is also allowed out of his cage for one or two hours every afternoon, when I get home from school. Should I build an extension? I don't think I can, though. I don't have enough more grids and I have no room in the piggy room. So do you think that's an okay size?! Cocoa is never bored and always have toys, hideys, tunnels, and hay.

For one piggie I think the size is fine.
2x3 is the recommended minimum for 2 females so I don't see why it would be too small for one.
Guinea pigs are social creatures though so it's usually best to have at least 2.
What are the dimensions of the cage? You said 8 square feet, but can you tell me how long each side is? (Easier for me to convert to measurement I'm familiar with.)

My other baby died :( I might get Cocoa a friend but he has been extremely aggressive towards any other guinea pig. I'm not sure of the measurements.... I'll measure and reply back.

I'm so sorry to hear your other guinea pig died :(
2x3 is recommended minimum for 2 female guinea pigs. But generally 2x4 is a preferred minimum for 2 male guinea pigs so if cocoa is male then 2x3 could potentially cause problems if you do get a second male. (and if you get a female without one of them being sterilised then you'd have babies which is definitely better avoided!)
