I did not know this was a thing until someone mentioned it on a Facebook group but the idea is to declutter 2024 things in 2024! If you Google it you can find a chart to colour in as you go.

I'm on a constant bid to declutter but there's always more coming in to the house. My own personal rule is that this can only include items given away, donated to charity or sold, no cheating by throwing it all in the bin!

I've been sorting through a lot of things and listing baby clothes and maternity clothes on vinted. So far I have decluttered 177 items and it's really spurring me on to keep getting new items on to vinted

I’ve been de-cluttering gradually over the past few months but you’d never guess 😢 I can’t believe how much ‘stuff’ I’ve accumulated and hung onto over the years. I think I’ll try the 2024 challenge. Rationalising my coat collection will go a long way to the target 🤣

I like to think that I don't have that many things I need to bin/donate/sell... but I bet I'd be upset if I actually counted it out 😂

We're hoping to move later this year so a big declutter was on the cards anyway, but I like a challenge! I doubt I'll keep count but sorting out one or two items a day seems reasonable..?

Moving house every few years is a great way to declutter.
This year our move is to a smaller house so major, disciplined declutterring is in order.

How easy is it to sell on Vinted @Lady Kelly ?

Fairly easy. It sorts out the postage labels for you and you just print and drop at the shop. Once the parcel is received and marked as ok then the funds are released and you can withdraw them. Withdrew £52 in January and have around £20 pending now again as well. Clothing doesn't go for large amounts and I set bundle discounts on to try and limit my trips to post. So if you buy two items you get 5% off, 2 is 10% but 3 is 20%. Works out well for the buyer and minimises my time packaging up to send. Kids clothes unless as good as new or good brands tell to sell as a bundle anyway and its a few pounds here and there but I did have 4 boxes of baby clothes, maternity wear etc to declutter.
