Junior Guinea Pig
I got a 2 tier hutch from p&h nearly 2 weeks ago with my little Piggys 3 lovely boars but they won't go down the ramp if I put them in bottom they can go up the ramp but I can't get them to go down any suggestion plz

Have you got a non slip surface on there I used a carpet tile, stuck on.
The other thing is it may be 2 steep try to reduce the angle by moving it further into the hutch.
They are happy to go up but when they try to comedown there is there massive drop & no way are they going down there. Or you could try putting a circular stairs. Have a look at the forum housing where people put there cage layouts you should get ideas from there. Fascinating set up there. They home from commercial set ups to homemade set ups.

My hutches are from pets at home and all of my pigs manage the ramps fine now I have made them grippy. I used a carpet tile cut up and attached with Velcro to each of the flat wooden gaps on the ramp (left the raised bits exposed) and now they all use the ramp fine. It did take them a while to use it properly and some of my pigs are not so keen on running down the ramp. Try some gentle coaxing to help them down the ramp. You might find that one day they just start to use the ramp no problems. That's what happened to me.
