image.webp image.webp Okay a lot of you said that the playpen was too small and that I should get a c and c cage so o searched for one but my mum would say no because of how much they cost. if my mum doesn't let me get the suitable size for Guinea pigs then I won't be getting any because I don't want them to suffer btw I'm 14 so I thought if I could get 2 play pens and join them together |

How big would the overall cage be?
You can get cheap second hand cages from eBay, preloved , gumtree.

I have these and you certainly can join them together but I had one piggy who could jump over them, and did so regularly! (Snowball)
You can indeed put as many of these together as you like though.

I now have detached all of mine and joined them together the other way up so they are 33cm tall. Cable tied are good for joining these.

Oh and in terms of hamsters these are no good at all for keeping them inside, my Syrian always climbed over them. All it did was slow her down.... :) Just thought I'd mention that :)

what if I only got one playpen would that be big enough or too small

I used to have something similar to this, it was very good!

Your standard C&C grids are 14' high. These ones are only 9'. A determined and young pig could probably find a way to get out. Plus when you layer on the towels on the fleece (if you're doing that) you'll loose an inch or two in height and that would mean there's only 7'-8' for your pig to attempt to escape from. And yes you would need two-three as 68cm x 68cm doesn't meet the 120cm x 60cm mininum amount.
