Hi Everyone!

My first post here!
Got 2 new baby boy's about 8 weeks.

They seem to have settled a little jumpy still but i have noticed one keeps tryin to hump the other there both male is this normal? They are defo boys!

They love there playtime and chase each other around my corner settee and everytime they pass they make this cute gurgly/purrey noise when they pass each other it's soooo cute!x)
They even chat to my hammies!
They can sometimes scarper fast if * just move ** arm i suspect this is normal?

Does anyone know what the noises mean?

also when you do lap time should they be together or individual attention?

Thanks xx

Hi Welcome to the forum!

Your boys are displaying the typical dominance behaviour ( have a look at the sticky thread at the top of this section about boar behaviour).

Humping, rumbling and chasing are all very normal. Hopefully, when they have sorted out who is going to be top boy, they will quieten down a bit more, although some boys will keep on doing it every day. mallethead

It can flare up again when they reach the hormonal phase between 4-12 months old, when each boy has to show what a macho pig he is!
