Isn't it amazing how animals/humans can cope with things! Remarkable - my 4 year old son said "Wow! He walks just like Scooby Doo, that's good!" ;D Bless him....

I saw that dog ages ago on amazing animals or something,so cute and very determined

I'm kind of disturbed seeing that
I'm not sure why

I sort of agree... his legs would get sore :( but at least he got a chance to live rather than being put to sleep i guess :)

But how can we truly know that this dog is happy?
That he /she is in no pain or discomfort whatsoever - for all we know this poor dog struggles along day to day
For me - its not natural that a dog walks on 2 legs - they are not evolved to do that without consequences to themselves

yer... s/he look so arkward when s/he walks... i wouldnt be able to handle my dog being like that :( It would be too sad

Yes i remember hearing about him and thinking how cruel, but after seeing him with his family i changed my mind, he looked soooo happy and was able to do everything, an amazing puppy O0 O0 O0 :-* :-* :-*

I know animals can't talk to us to let us know how they are feeling but I do think you can tell whether a dog is happy or not - they mope around and have sad eyes, you can almost see in their faces what they want to say to you (I probably haven't put it very well but hopefully you know what I mean ::)) This dog does seem truly happy to me, as unnatural as you would think it is for a dog to walk on two legs he/she certainly seems really content with his/her lot. It's well loved by the family and you can tell that is reciprocated, that speaks for itself really I think :)

I think that it is amazing. Well done to the family for taking the time to teach her and work with her.

When I first started to watch the clip I didn't think I liked it. It did look a little freaky but actually she looks really happy and obviously loves her owner.

I just think - wow - that is one heck of a way to adapt! Fair play to her owners for giving her a life. A lot of people would have put her to sleep in the same situation.

i totally agree with this, she might seem happy in the video clip but all that weight on two legs and walking like that it has to cause her some problems, she must get tired out quickly as well. To be honest I'm not entirely sure whether that dog has a true quality of life, it makes me quite sad to watch things like that

Can't help but think that this doggy should have some kind of trolley/stabilisers on the front to help with walking. Why is it that those with paralised back legs get one but not this one with lack of front legs?

I agree... surely they could make a wheel-chair or somthing like that for the poor guy :)
