2 girl pigs having a fight

Suzy (3 years old) and pip ( 2 years old ) have lived together for a year but recently they keep chattering at each other then today they were really loud and then the next thing i saw was suzy jumping back from pip . Then when i came over the chattered at me and a bit of pip fur had been pulled out ,only a small bit . I separated them just to chill out but now i don't know what to do , will the be friends again :( . do you think it was a dominance fight ?
 
It may be that one of them is having a very strong season - my two do this sometimes - with a bum wagging and mounting thrown in for good measure - its also a domminance thing.
 
so should i just put them back together and let them fight it out ?

My two Piggies Ginny and Amber were just the same when they were the only 2 females. I have a Boar now, so he sorts them out if they get out of hand.
 
I have had this myself not long ago with two of mine, doing same as yours but also they flew at one another and it looked like a ball of fur as they were tussling, all calmed down in the end with no blood drawn, I just put it down to hormones and perhaps coming into season. You will probably find that they will calm down within a day or so.rolleyes
