2 Different Personalities

Hello, I have had 2 piggies for over a week now and am a new owner. One of my pigs has always been very outgoing and more explorative. She's always the first to come out of the igloo and the one that runs around during floor time and popcorns alllllllll the time. She was skittish when I first got her but is a lot more outgoing. I have had to feed her medicine so she's just begun to feel confortable in my hands. My other pig is the opposite. She Hides a lot and isn't as social. She sniffs/licks/nibbles on my fingers but doesn't like when I touch her. She's more comfortable than she was when I first got her. During floor time she runs around with my other pig but still likes to hide in corners in the dark. Is there any advice you can give me on this? I know they are prey animals and it's instinct to run and hide, but I hate playing with my other pig while she is scared and hiding.

It is impressive that you've had them for so short a time and one of them is already so comfortable! Give him time. Speak softly frequently to them, put a favorite vegetable in your hand and just put your hand in the cage. Don't try to get him to take it, just hold it until he gets the courage to approach you. And have patience! You'll get there, and you'll find it to be extremely rewarding
