I have my two girls in an 11 by 2 C & C cage. I was just thinking of getting them a husboar, neutered of course because Lola is not fixed although Bindy is.
Things are going well and the girls get on fine. They aren't extremely close but they work things out and get on ok. Lola is young and challenges Bindy sometimes whos is almost 4 years but mostly their fine. I think it would be nice for Lola to have another young one to run around with perhaps?
I am just thinking that perhaps it would enrich their lives to have another friend. If I go to the rescue and get a boy, and if it has already bonded to another pig I would have to take it also so I would end up with 4 pigs.
I am not sure that my cage is big enough really for 4, although when I google cage size for G Pigs, its says its Ok. Unfortunately I cant enlarge the cage any further without it being to big for the room.
Do you think, getting just a neutered boy or getting a bonded pair to add to my two, will enrich their lives or just complicate things for them? My goal is to enrich their lives and also to provide a great home for another pig or two.
What do you think, Add a neutered boy or bonded pair to my two girls?

Have a read of Adding More Guinea Pigs Or Merging Pairs – What Works And What Not?

Either adding a single neutered boar or adding a pair of sows has the potential to work (depending on individual personalities) but adding two boars has an incredibly high risk of failure - the boars will almost certainly wind up fighting over the girls and it will all go downhill very very fast!

Your best option is to find a rescue that does bonding and let your girls have a say in who they want to live with. You've a good space so adding more should be very doable - its just making sure you set things up to give you all the best chance of a happy herd :).
