As the title says this is my first time trying c&c and i 'm quite pleased although the bottom is difficult to get right into but this has used all my grids so never mind, maybe i'll get some more and hitch it up a bit to allow me better access to the bottom.

I have 4 boars here, Tyler (white, 4 months) and Fuzzy (ginger rex/teddy, 2 years) at the top and Flinn (1 year silver cornonet) and Winston (3 month lunkarya) at the bottom.

They love it so far, lots more room! Although I'm mildy concerned about how much they're chewing the correx :... I'm hoping they'll get bored of this soon.

I cover my correx with fleece,

also you could use the whole bottom 4 panels as a door just lift them all up dont cable tie the ends but you would need to cable tie to the wood panel

Thanks, yeah they're definately loving having more room, I thought their shop bought 120 cages were good but cos the grids are quite large its nearly 5ft (the OH is not loving it but pretty much built it so takes at least 70% of the credit! ") )

That looks great! Misty used to nibble on the correx but got very bored of this quickly. xx

Oh well done! That's fab! xx>>>

So much more room for the piggies, they will be very pleased and will soon be whizzing around i'm sure! :))

No not expensive, I got the grids from ebay, 26 including cable ties & connectors for about £35, I'll post the listing when I can find it, the correct was from tea crate packaging.co.Uk for about £4 a sheet, I bought 3 but only needed 2, the piece of wood is cable tied to the bottom tier and vice versa and is just a big piece of chip board, my OH is a carpenter so he acquired that for free, all the fleeces and stuff I already had in their other cage so you just need the grid and correc :)

Correx

Hi, did the one sheet do the 4x2 cage?

I have been looking for cheap stuff in the UK and that is it!

and have you a link to the seller you bought your grids from?

Hi becki, if you go to the 'sticky' thread at the top of this section and go to the members gallery of c & c cages i have put my pics in there with the links and info on how to make something similar including the link for the grids.

One sheet of correx from tea crate packaging was more than enough per level of 120cm but it was cheap cos i got 2mm, if you can find 4mm its better :)
