my girls have started since yesterday fighting at cuddle time. I have been taking both out together for lap time cause it seemed to settle them. Now though they seem to fight for the best spot - under my neck. Which can be precarious for me with piggy teeth flying. I got bitten twice tonight by bonnie lashing out at caramel.
They are chattering so bad that I had to put them away and take them out again individually.
My youngest daughter was crying cause she was afraid of the "fighting"

Is this just an age thing with the girls as they figure out who is boss?
My boys never did this. Think they were too laid back to care.

Some pigs don't seem to want to share the humans. Our original dominant sow (Linney) would NOT share the people's lap. She would get really, really aggressive with the other pig (Frenzy, and then Sundae after Frenzy passed away.) Linney was a bossy pig generally and really dominant, so it was just easier to do lap time one-on-one. I've just kept on doing that, even though Hadley (current 'top pig') is nowhere near as forceful as Linney was and would probably share cuddles with Sundae. I've just gotten used to holding them one at a time and kind of enjoy the one-on-one time.

Yeah I think I will stick to one on one time. They are fine together in their cage and they love floor time together.
Guess everyone needs a little spoiling sometimes so they can have individual cuddle time. It's no hardship for me.
