It's been 15days since I posted asking for advice on handling our guinea pigs and thought I'd give an update. We got some pouches so we could hold them and talk with them and they could hide up if they wanted. Jerry started coming out a little bit, sniffing the air and my face (it's difficult to stay still when a guinea pig sniffs your nose). Ginger poked his head out and would run back in the pouch. The last few times Jerry has been getting a lot braver, climbing on me and exploring more. Tonight Ginger came out to explore on me.

Thank you, I thought they'd feel safer if they had somewhere to hide up. I'm trying let them decide if they want to come and explore, rather than forcing them to. It's slow going, but we're getting there. One day they'll be watching tv with us, might be next year, but if they're happy I'm happy.
