so my piggies are in 120 cages now and it looks cramped with their bits in, thye are on wood shavings can i see poeples set up with them or some ideas please
Hi I think that is the biggest they go. Look at the Midwest plenty of room for beds toys & piggies. If you have the room buy 2 & connect them. As it's a C&C cage if you want a top as well. They do, do it
(which is really only used if you have other animals)
i cant ave any other cage, they wree in a c&c type cage btu due to fighting had to seperate so i have a triple 120 cage so all 3 pairs are stacked up due to space in my small flat
The biggest cage is actually a 160 which is 160cms long. @loopylucy1990 is it just 3 girls you have or 3 pairs of girls with each pair in a 120cms cage?
love that, we have a large metal run and each night each group will have a play i also have a very long hall so weekends i may split my hall 2 then one group in run others in hall ect i have them on shavings so cant use pretty fleece even though i have strawberry houses
I have a 140 x 70cm cage for two sows. I hate the damn thing because I can only really fit two quite large wooden hidey's (they absolutely love them and sulk big time if I try to replace them but they take up a fair bit of room) and a hay bowl in it and if I put a tunnel in then it's cluttered as hell. Luckily my piggies have no interest in toys otherwise there would be no room to move.
This is this weeks set up, the picture is quite zoomed in so the cage actually is bigger than it looks but you can just see the other hidey on the other side that is exactly the same hidey and there is nothing behind it.
Perhaps a better photo (post clean) also zoomed in but without the cage part and piggies.
