Hi all,

Birmingham seems to be the most popular venue for the 10th Anniversary Meet so now we need a clear vote on the date which most members would prefer as we need to organise a superb venue and give us all time to organise travel etc. Please vote on the poll above with your preferred date.

Either vote for 4th or the 11th June and each member will be entitled to one vote. If more than one of you are intending to come along please state on this thread your preferred date plus how many others are in your group. As an example we will vote for one of the dates and then post a thread saying that both of us will be attending.

The vote will close on Wednesday the 23rd of March and the preferred date will be announced.

I gave voted for 11th as I have another comittment on 4th.

Hiya,

If you can get one of your parents to agree to come along with you there shouldn't be a problem as long as there is a responsible adult over the age of 18 with you and they arrive and leave at the same time as you (act as your chaperone).

I will see if my mum could come but I'm still not certain she would want to come :(
 
I can still do either date, so I haven't voted. But I will definitely be there when I know what date it is
 
Count me in for the 11th plus husband. If the 4th wins I think I can still make it but would need some notice to take that day off at work, instead of 11th (as I work every Saturday).
 
I voted for the 4th, can't do the 11th at all, it's my step sons 18th and we're meant to be going away...
 
I voted for the 4th as it is nearer payday but we could most likely do the 11th. Want to make sure we can go to the TEAS open day though which may mean Ross will have to swap his Saturday shift.
 
11th is my Saturday off work so I've voted for then. I can always attempt to book the 4th off if more people can do that date though. Either way I'm determined to make it :))
 
I think I can possibly make either so haven't voted and will see what happens :)

.... and we've really tried hard to get a date and City that suits as many people as possible.

They really should vote or at least comment because at the moment it doesn't look like many people are interested
 
Only just seen this thread as don't visit the forum too much these days - I've voted for 11th as I'm looking to go to a vegan fair in London on the 4th but not sure I'd go so can probably do both. If it's central Birmingham I can go.
Know a couple of places to try as a venue too, be nice to go somewhere that's booked for just the group possibly?
Places like the Wellington pub function room, friends of the earth has a large meeting room, Carrs Lane church has lots of rooms you can book, Cafe Soya a Chinese restaurant near New Street has a room to book if 20 go and people wanted food?
That's if there's not a venue in mind already
