venting

Hi there! I recently got a new desk and am planning on sanding it a little and finishing it with linseed or even Danish oil. The desk is right next to my guinea pig cage, both under the window. Linseed oil would work better but Danish oil I believe is safer. I’m not sure about sanding the desk...
