smoke

This might be a silly question. I am in New York, and the smoke from the Canadian wildfires is out of control. The sun is out of sight and the sky is orange, but I can’t stop worrying for my two boys. Has anyone else ever been in this situation? What can I do to make sure they’re unaffected...

So I was browsing ebay for some fleece and noticed that I could get some super cheap.. however, there's a catch! It reads "not from a smoke free home" in the description. Should I even consider it? Can you even get the smell of smoke out of fleece? Thank you! P.s. also worried about piggies...
