oxbow hay

I found a turkey/big bird feather in my guinea pig's hay, and I was wondering if it was still safe to feed them? I won't be able to contact anybody until Monday, so I am concerned that they'll get sick from it. (I don't know how to upload a picture, but it's a big black feather)
