Hi I just needed someone advice are either of these big enough for two Guinea pigs to live in? They do get time out of their cage everyday for a minimum 1.5hrs, I try to let them out for longer most days.
So I have 2 boys ( 4 years old ) and I was in another forum to which people said i need to switch to c&c I do love the style of them however it wouldn't work for me right now, they're currently in a 180x60 wooden style cage and of course they get floor time everyday they're happy boys and i felt...
Guys, I am in love with the new guinea pig cage😍 Theyve got SO much more room to run about compared to the little pet shop cage we first got. I'm so happy with it & the guinea pigs have been popcorning like mad! Expensive, but worth every penny!❤❤❤
I’m going back to school and my guinea pig needs lots of attention cause he does not have a friend. Will he be lonely? I know my dad will be with him but I’m worried he will get lonely- I’m in school for 8 hours. I have to go to school at 7:30 and I leave at 3:10. Please give me advice so I can...
I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in this, but over the next week I'm am off work and Ive come up with such an exciting idea for my guinea pigs c&c, I will be extending the base possibly to 4x3 (if not just a small width extension on one part) and then providing them with a loft. My...
In my ongoing quest to make sure the boys stay together we have upcycled a toddler bed to give them lots of room. Also, I'm a children's book illustrator and, as I wanted the piggies in the centre of our home, I felt it needed to be pretty too! Not a main concern for the piggies, but nice for...
Hi all,
My boyfriend and I are DIYing a new cage for our babies. Originally it was going to be super long so our two boys had loads of run space, but as many of you will know I posted about having to separate our boys. They're now booked in to be neutered in two weeks' time and the new aim is...
The girls are settling in quite nicely to their indoor cage ready to stay at my sisters on a little holiday while we go on holiday! We don't go until Sunday but I thought it would be a good idea to let them have a few days in their cage to get used to it. Tomorrow I'm off out shopping and I'm...
So we're buying a house for the first time ever. The piggies are getting their own bedroom.
This has been months in the making now, with so much paperwork and the estate agents and solicitors taking ages...
But today we got the buildings survey/report back.
Now, it's an older property and...
Hi!
So I'm pretty sure the standard hutch for most people housing their Guinea pigs outside is the classic 2 storey wooden hutch (probably from pets at home)
Basically I have had 7 pigs in my life and out of all of them only 1 has ever learnt to use the stairs in the hutch which essentially...
One year ago today I brought my three sisters home after an 8 year (or so) break from piggy keeping.
They are currently inside as their shed still won't stay warm enough and we're constantly trying to make improvements. If the latest batch of attempts don't work OH said they can live inside...
I'm in the process of trying to foster some small animals, I would take any rodents really and have experience with guinea pigs, rats, mice, dwarf hamsters, syrian hamsters and rabbits. I live in warrington and I saw an ad for the RSPCA not the closest one but second closest to me in altrincham...
Ok, my fellow cavy enthusiasts! I'm really getting tired of how ugly my guinea pigs' cage is, especially when I'm trying to decorate my new apartment. Nothing says aesthetically appealing like an ugly wire cage with hay and piggie poop flying everywhere. After scouring the internet for some kind...
My Guinea pig is around 4-5 years old, I don't remember exactly when we got her but she is a little old. Her sister recently passed away from an unknown health problem, so I've been keeping my remaining piggie busy.
Getting a new pig is out of the question, I just can't afford it. Plus, when my...
Brought these three little piglets home this afternoon. Wasn't really planning on such little ones - they're only about 4 or 5 months old. They are currently in their temporary indoor pen as it's supposed to be particularly cold tonight and then they'll hopefully move to the piggie shed...
