bedding quiet piggies

As i mentioned earlier i have had these 2 boys for a week now, they don't seem to come out alot. is this normal? Sometimes they share the same bed other times they sit in one each. Also is it cruel to take the beds away just occassionally so i can sit with them and actually get them used to...
